Sure you can! Just combine dry mix with stick of softened butter and 1 egg. Batter will be thick, but if it is too stiff to mix, add a tablespoon of water. Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes. No need to grease baking sheet. Soft and chewy at about 9 minutes, a little crispy at 11 minutes.
You can use 1/3 cup oil instead of softened butter. You can add chopped nuts, chocolate chips or peanut butter to the batter, too!
Another idea would be to mix according to directions on box and make them in mini muffin pans. Reduce baking time as they will bake much faster. You can put a maraschino cherry in the center of the batter for a nice surprise inside.
