I’m so psyched. I just found my Halloween costume for next year. Should I be so honored with an invite to a costume party, I think I will have to go as bacon. Yes, you heard me: bacon.

I couldn’t agree more with the post that accompanies the photo. I am, for the most part, a shy person but I have no trouble proclaiming my love of bacon to anyone who will listen. (My friend Amy actually had a t-shirt made for me that says, “I love beer, bacon and driving really fast. How am I still single?”) I have been known to eat an entire pound of bacon in one weekend, I kid you not. I make it in the microwave, using one of those special bacon-making trays. I put one paper towel on the tray, then four or five pieces of bacon, then another paper towel. I zap it in the microwave for about 3 ½ minutes until it’s so crispy you can snap it in half.

I may have to throw my own party, just so I can show off this costume. Brilliant!

Did you dress up for Halloween this year? Any clever foodie costume ideas you’d like to share?

Awesome costume!  Now if you could combine that with the wakin' with bacon alarm clock smells you'd be all set!  I don't have any foodie costume ideas but a certain local Mexican restaurant was offering free food to patrons who came in on Halloween dressed as tacos or burritos.  True Story.

looks like a lot of work to make that costume.  I once wrapped myself in aluminum foil and went as Al Uminium
