It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in Minnesota, after getting six inches of snow last weekend.  It  feels likewinter too—with the high temps predicted to be in the 20s all week. An easy way to do some holiday shopping while staying warm and cozy at home is to purchase gifts online. To give you some ideas of where to go for some great food, cookware and tabletop gifts, here are the web site addresses from the many catalogs that I have sitting on my desk right now. Have I missed any that you like to order from?

Does Betty Crocker still make Tuna Helper Pot Pie? That was my favorite but has not been available in Az. for years. If so where can it be purchased? Thank you

I have recently noted that several slow-cooker recipes state they were tested in a crock-pot with heating elements in the sides of the cookers. I don't know if they also have elements at the bottom as well, but I am very interested in more information about this type of cooker. I have went to several of the catalogs you list here, and failed to find such a cooker. Could you guide us as to where one might be located? Thank You

Heidi, I've looked at numerous sites still trying to find a cooker with heating elements in the sides. I've contacted a large retailer who is also unaware of this type of slow-cooker. I would appreciate it so very much if you would be so kind as to enlighten me as to the Brand and where I might purchase this DO love to cook. Thanks again, Heidi, Mombu
